Moroccan treaties are essential agreements that establish Morocco’s rights and duties on the global stage, promoting peace and cooperation. According to Article 2 of the Vienna Convention on the Law of Treaties (1969), treaties are legally binding and integral to maintaining international order. The instructions given in the several Moroccan treaties is the order that all Moroccan States must reign in. Article 31 of the Vienna Convention addresses treaty interpretation in light of their purpose.
